At SOTR, we're committed to making positive changes for the planet — and we're excited to share one of our latest steps towards a more sustainable future. By changing the way we package and send out your orders, we've been able to cut our waste output by half!
We've moved away from traditional plastic packaging and now wrap all our items in paper, using plastic-free labels and hand printed stickers.
This simple but important switch means no more plastic bags for individual items.
Not only is this better for the environment, but it also keeps your pieces flatter and neater during shipping — helping them arrive in perfect condition, without being crushed.
The feedback from you, our customers, has been overwhelmingly positive, and it's so encouraging to see how many of you support this change.
Because of these new practices, we've also been able to reduce our waste collections to once every two weeks — a clear sign that we're producing far less waste.
For the protective outer packaging, we still use mailer bags made from 30% recycled materials — and the best part? They’re fully recyclable, too.
